Q: Will I have poorer gas mileage if I have a ski rack on my car?

A: If there is a ski rack on the top of your car, your gas mileage will not be as good, even if your ski rack is empty. If you are not using your ski rack, take it off. You could also think about getting a ski rack or ski box that will fit on the back of your car and will not create such drag.
